The Butte Chapter of the Grizzly Scholarship Association will be holding the Corrs Ligh Grizzly Golf Tournament June 1st at the Butte Country Club. All monies raised will go to the University of Montana Grizzly Scholarship Association to provide UM student athletes with scholarships.
The format will be a four person golf scramble. The fee is $75; includes a round of golf and dinner. there will be a Griz auction and Butte native interim coach Mick Delaney and Wayne Tinkle will golf and be speaking at the tailgate dinner.

Beautify Butte - Finale
Saturday the 19th many will win prizes and pies at the Beautify Butte Finale. The finale is running from 8 am to 2 pm at the county landfill, west of town. Perkins has donated fifty pies to be given away to the first fifty people who drive through the gates. Thirty other prizes will be given away including a gas barbecue, tree, weed eater, cash, hanging baskets, gift certificates and much more. The clean up effort is a six week long campaign however many residents continue the effort throughout the coming months.
The drawing for prizes will be at 2 pm Saturday.
The dump is located west of Butte; take the Rocker Exit and drive North.
Caution: if your load is not securely covered you can be fined.
